Visa overstays are not subject to leaving on ban like EWI when it comes to marriage and employment sponsorship.

I am really hoping there isn't an age limit for Dreamers.

Not true for all categories.

My USC grandfather filed for my mother and she still has to leave the country when her visa number comes available. They will ban her from re-entry for 10 years.

I don't care what process they have...the NEED to give immediate conditional permanent residency to all DACA eligible (Ideally I'd like ALL original Dreamers to be treated this way) AND IMMEDIATE travel authorization for ALL other people.

Interesting, I was under the Impression only EWI's were thrown under the bus for this.

for case #3 by saying they will allow us to "travel in the country legally" does it mean only within the U.S. or outside the country? i think the plan is fair overall but it wouldn't be fair if they don't allow us to travel outside the U.S imo. and staying another 10 years just to avoid the 10 year ban would suck for my parents.

edit: ah nvm i see it's already been briefly discussed. seriously they should allow all of us to travel outside the country for a limited number. my family and i are overstayers and we didn't have problem traveling around the country through public transit. it would be really nice if we're allowed to travel outside the country w/o fear of triggering the 10 year ban.

So why wouldn't be fair exactly? See we are not in the position to be calling out what's fair and what's not and in the country does not mean outside

If you here without authorization can you travel legally aka with a legal license

No

It would just give them licenses

well that's your opinion. i think it would be unfair if we're not allowed to travel outside the country even when we're legalized just b/c of our history. if everything's payed back and cleared up why hold us back? and yes i have the right to express my opinion. this is internet and it's the whole point of this forum. you don't get to decide what position i'm in or what rights i have or don't have b/c you don't know me. maybe my choice of word could've been different but i still stand by what i wrote. it's my opinion hence the "imo". chill
