Right.

These people don't know immigration law. Coyotes know that. Human traffickers know that. If the House had just passed the Senate bill or gone to conference with their own bill, this wouldn't be happening. Of course some people would still try to come here, but fraud would be difficult to pull off. The Border Hawks would have gotten what they wanted and we would be on a path to legalization at this point.

Instead they want to lay this whole thing on the administration when they are the ones paid to pass legislation. They get more vacation time in one session than most working class people get their whole lives.

With the internet, there is no excuse for not knowing the laws. Hell, Google will even translate!

Anyway, Vargas is released! That man has huge balls (NH) http://www.cnn.com/2014/07/15/justic...t=hp_inthenews

We're talking about countries where less than 20% of the population has access to the Internet. The people making this trip are not people that can research US immigration law before hand.

Glad to hear that he is out. There are tons of mixed feelings about his actions today coming through my Twitter feed (one large youth organization isn't pleased with him).

And this is another big point Democrats need to point out going forward.

Not only do repubes refuse to help pass immigration reform, they try to say its the other guys fault, they try to say the other guy is the reason all of this is happening, but they refuse to do the one thing that could fix all of this in the 1st place.
