The very good job you hold, I assume you do because of DACA. Good for you. How do you contribute more than the 95% "here" ? Because I can guarantee you that you have not paid more than I have.
Ahahaha Please, do give me a breakdown of your 35K/year job and tell me how you have managed to pay more than me in taxes.

?!?!

Lol; it's not 35k.

Aaaand that's not the point...DACA is conditioned on arrival before age 16, being 31 and under, and completion of high school. Beneficiaries are NOT required to work. If you think your employment entitles you to legal status, well, I have news for you.

How long have you been a taxpayer?

Cliffs:

Freshh started a thread about how Obama will eventually do an EO sometime this year.

dtrt09 calls this political shenanigans

People made comments on how Obama should expand DACA to other people without USC relatives.

IamAman was touched.

moby says hi and introduced himself.

Sorrybrah says "wtf just happened?"

ManIamHappy stated that he pays more taxes than 95% of poverty dreamers.

Dtrt09 asked to elaborate

ManIamHappy stated that Dtrt09 only makes 35k a year

Dtrt09 objected.

- To be continued.

I never said employment entitles you to anything. You're the one who brought up that you paid more in taxes than I did. Which I'd be willing to bet my life you don't pay nearly as much as I do in taxes.

Back to my original point which was if the White House does something about work permits for everyone, it is my believe that it would hurt DACA recipients. End of story. I don't care about your 35k/year job and I don't care how much longer you think you paid taxes than I did.

1) You didn't answer how long you've been a taxpayer.

2) Your beliefs aren't facts. Evidence is. One cannot 'think' has paid taxes for longer. Either you have or have not.

3)It's not $35k.

Here's the kicker for you: 4) Under INA, work authorization is NOT tied to legal status. The president can grant work permits to whomever he wants. 8 USC 1324a(h)(3)

Deferred action it not legal status, as you should know by now. I doubt that the president will give everyone eligibility for work authorization, but he will give it to some, and it's only needed for those "others" to possibly create a backlash against DACA. Too bad. There needs to be done what needs to be done.

How long I've been paying taxes is none of your business.

I said I believe. I never said it was fact.

I never argued of what he can and can't do, please take some English comprehensive courses so you can understand what it is I'm saying before replying to my posts.
