So there is no way this can go to 5th Circuit Court before the 19th? How long can this Judge drag this?

I don't fit the typical hispanic stereotype, because I happen to look what most people call "white hispanic". I don't have family that is undocumented, the only one friend that I had that was not a U.S. citizen, now has a green card. So based on your statement if I decide to vote republican in the next election, it will show that I have little respect for myself? Why? Because I don't place immigration as my number one priority? Because being Hispanic automatically means I have to vote democratic? Because being Hispanic basically means I can't think for myself and have to follow the masses?
You are the shining example of " I got mine, so screw everybody else". Why are you even on this site? You have no point of reference or empathy for Dreamers. I've been here almost three times as long as you and can't even get a driver's license in my own state or apply for work as a dish washer if I go through the front door. If you had to put up with that for even a month you wouldn't be so open to Republicans. Anyway, nobody is stopping your radical and cool free thinking. By all means go vote for Ted Cruz. He's a white Hispanic too and Republicans love parading you guys around to show how diverse they are during their anti immigration rallies.

I hate ignorant statements that say that if a latino votes republican, he or she is a sellout. Everyone is entailed to their opinions and they can vote for whoever they want. True Hispanics should vote republican or democrat as longn as they are informed.
To an extent, you are correct. People do have the tendency to vote for whatever is going to make their lives easier, particularly in the long run. I believe the term missing in this whole argument is "demographics".

We don't all live under the same circumstances, therefore our opinions are different. However, like someone said already, i don't think you can relate to the struggles the majority (if not all) of people on this forum see on a daily basis. To be honest with you, I myself can't relate to the majority of people on this forum either.

If i were to "come out" to my friends as an illegal immigrant, most would probably think it's a joke and laugh and not believe it at all. What i look like, where i live, what i drive (the state where i live allows illegals to obtain a driver's license), the English i speak, my education, how i spend my money, where i work, the things i have, etc., it all screams upper middle class American in anyone's eyes, yet that doesn't stop me from understanding that the Republicans aren't going to help my case in the long run.

It wasn't always like this for me. I worked hard to get to where i am, but i have now hit a dead end because of my status. I can't move up any higher because that requires me to be a legal resident. And i don't even have DACA, believe it or not.

In conclusion, it's not your race that ultimately defines who you vote for, it's your particular situation.

And now you know why I hate Argentinians. For the most part, they feel no empathy for Hispanics/latinos

Can't be any worse than Cubans! Seriously though I have some friends of friends who are Argentinians and besides being annoying during the World Cup, they are very religious and also Republican.

From what I know of the law (which is not much), it seems like they have to play the Brownsville judge's little game to show that they made an effort.

Oh ok, so nothing will happen until after the 19th, I suppose. We could've gotten biometrics appointments about now...
