I seriously doubt they will revoke them.

I was going to renew mine but then I realize in three months they will announce our current ids are no good for flying and we will need to upgrade them to enhanced versions but or currents ones are good for driving only. No point in renewing to be honest. It's not like it's going to be granfathered in to whatever plan they have

I thought the same as you thinking I wasted time and money to renew, But then I remembered my biggest priority was being able to drive without getting pulled. MY chances of being questioned and detained would increase because I was driving without a valid License. The Other Biggie is having some form of a State ID.

We will just have to carry both our state ID and passports whenever we fly. But I do think they might actually give us NEW ID that differentiate us from the normal US citizens. But thats better than nothing so its all good

well, WA already has two types of Driver's licenses - Enhanced and regular. I have a feeling they'll just keep it the same and let whoever is a citizen and wants enhanced to get one.

Yeah but regular won't be good enough for flying. So I get the feeling they will mark "Not valid for flying "

If I had to guess, I'd say it'll be the same as that of CO and a lot of other states. One compliant with the star and good for everything, the other saying "not valid for federal purposes", which might raise question when you want to use it to, say, get a loan, in 'show-me-your-papers' states, etc.

To me it's the complete opposite, not having the extra marking on the ID would make it worthwhile renewing now

Thats the thing though, I don't know how the other states did it, but I get the feeling as soon this happens, they will recall our current IDs and just give us new ones, or better yet, inform us that we need renew our ASAP and our currents ones will be valid for a short time

take in mind I could get one with DACA but then it would only be for 3 years and I am sure it would be marked

Most of the states didn't recall the IDs to my best knowledge, what they required was showing up in person with all the proper documentation regarding legal presence, and they double and triple checked every database to make sure the info provided was correct. That's at least what TX did [fingerscrossed]
