Trump has appealed to the lowest common denominator of the Republican party. He brought these people out of the armpit of the party and is giving them a platform. After Hillary wins, Prebius will probably be out. They will perform another autopsy of the defeat again to come to the realization that they need to appeal to a broader and changing electoral. Will they do this? I think they have no choice. The electorate will be vastly different after 8 years of Hillary.
They won't. They've been doing shitty with minorities for decades and instead of changing that they're just digging deeper and deeper. This keeps up they'll eventually hit China. Even the so called voices of reason (e.g. McCain) go full right wing retard come elections.

Yes, but before they could make up for it by appealing to their mostly white base. This electorate cycle is different because the minority vote will account for 31% of the electorate and will continue to increase with every election. Either they change or they die off. I'm ok with either. Even if they become more socially liberal they might hold on to their crappy "trickle down economics" buffoonery. They would get no votes though without appealing to their base of voters that votes against their own interests due to racial resentment.

It's literally looking like a shut out performance just as many including myself had predicted from Day 1. Nate Silver now has Hillary at 82% chance of winning! Even the Harvard Republican student group has come out saying that for the first time in 128 years, the organization will NOT be endorsing the Republican candidate! Trump has officially taken the GOP down to the dumps. GOP only has itself to blame. The party could have easily nominated someone like Rand Paul and had a STRONG chance against Hillary. Trump actually could present really good policies but the guy is so stupid, he just keeps hammering himself on the foot by saying foolish things everyday.
