I still cant believe there are dreamers for trump lmao. Its hilariously sad. Yes, let us support the guy who wants to remove us, and has been saying that for the last year.

And the evidence? Oh they say its a "hunch". A hunch is a terrible way to say you guessed.

What do you suggest we do? We are at his mercy now. The smart thing to do is to get on his good side and hope he doesn't kick our asses out.

The whole point of Durban doing this is that it will begin the discussion about immigration. Republicans will need to pass a bill that will hopefully include some form of relief for us, along with enforcement and some harsh changes in the current system, more funding for the wall etc..

I am not saying we should agree with him on everything or kiss his ass. I am saying we need to work with him. That's the reality. But, if you want to, we can wait four or eight years until a person we all like gets elected, so we can work together on relief. He has expressed a desire to cooperate. Let's try to take advantage of that.

In the mean time, let us bask in the agony and misery of trying to sustain ourselves while we hold on to our pride and suffer as ideologues.

We criticize the right for not coming to the center on immigration. Yet, you are implying we should behave the same. WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT, Trump is the guy you will need to pressure and ask for relief. Doesn't mean he has to be your hero.

Was Rigoberta Menchu a triator to all of the innocent genocide victims just because she had to work with Efrain Rios Mont (one of the masterminds of the genocide) in Guatemala's legislature? She had no choice but to work with him. Similarly, we do not have a choice but to work with Trump.

No, that's the harsh reality dude. The legislators who sympathize with us need to work with him. Whether you like or not, we will have to pressure him and ask him for relief. That is the reality that you are refusing to accept. What do you suggest we do man? Honestly, you criticize my pragmatism, yet you do not offer any approaches. What is your approach? Wait 4 to 8 years for another President? You do realize he has a very good chance of getting re-elected, don't you?

Arguing politics of polarization, like Ted Cruz, is a sign of poor leadership man. I concede and agree with you on many things about Trump; we can't trust him blindly or say he is a great human being. But, we can't go back into our caves and refuse to engage in dialogue with him.

He won by very small margins in a lot of swing states. By 2020 when he doesn't bring back the jobs he'll be out of there.

Let's hope so.

In the mean time, let's try . . .

This is how the game is going to be played, piecemeal legislation.

Trump isn't the issue. The issue as we have always said here is his team , the #REAL Trump Dream and these people aren't very well known for listening and historically have been very against any immigration bills. How do we convince these people exactly who are years ahead of trump when it comes to playing politics ?
