"more than a thousand will likely be targeted in deportation raids,"

A 1000 is not even 1 percent of approved Dreamers.

Less than 0.15% of approved Dreamers.

What are you chances of being targeted for deportation IF you haven't committed violent crimes?

Almost non-existent.

No, he will however expand what is considered a CIMT. This is why he wants to use Secure Communities and how he may get to his 2-3 million deportations ....bleh.

I think it was a mistake for advocates telling us to hold off on applying and renewing. Be prepare to hear that DACA will end ( NO NEW APPLICANTS) and those who have it will be able to keep and renew (GRANDFATHERED IN) That's the only option I think will appease both sides.

" Supporting law enforcement also means deporting illegal aliens with violent criminal records who have remained within our borders."

This is adamant. Not speculation. Specifically stated in WhiteHouse.Gov. Get some rest guys. Good news coming up Monday. We have been blessed since Obama, and blessed with a republican president who sympathesizes with us, and continiously does so. We would be fucked with Cruz, Santorum, etc. Lets be happy guys Good news on our way!

Remember this.

I just read online that there are 800k people with deportation orders. How is he going to deport even those people if ICE only deported 60k people as a result of internal enforcement? I'm not saying the 1000 dreamers have nothing to fear, but must remain vigilant. Also, if he starts going after normal people with DWL misdemeanors or traffic tickets and stuff like that, all hell will break lose.

I read this article and it did not seem worthy of being posted here because it truly defies any logic and contracts all of our current sources. Including Trump himself telling Durbin. Also, the title of the article is misleading.

Whatever Trump does, "SOME" Dreamers likely to be deported soon.

I added the "some" part because I did not want to scare everyone. This article specifically talks about dreamers with final orders of removal.

If that's true, that will be awful.
I won't fit in this situation, but saddens me a lot to know that some of us will be persecuted by minor things.
That sucks BIG TIME!!!
