@MinModulation Current WH leaks say a DACA EO has been drafted but Trump is anxious about public response at this point.

key word is "if" hes just asking for input if DACA needs to be changed a bit through congress. like congress should do something about it so that it is law and permanent.

"If I wanted to drive myself crazy, I'd note lumping medically-dead DAPA in w/DACA is a sign they'll kill DACA. But that seems a stretch."

Worst case scenario is Trump just signs that leaked EO which would still give a lot of us a little time to save some money and plan a graceful exit if we have to. It won't be any worse than that, there won't be a more evil version that cancels DACA and simultaneously places us in deportation proceedings or orders ICE to come and get us at home. If anything, it might be a little better than the leaked EO, given that Trump has said positive things about DREAMers and working something good out for us. You don't have to take his words at face value if you don't want to, but it doesn't change the fact that he did in fact say those things and signing that leaked EO would run counter to his statements. Let wait until the ink is dry on whatever he signs before we start making plans to leave.

Kelly is gonna follow the presidents orders regardless of which way it goes. He has to keep his personal views seperate even though it's apparent he's not very much keen on Trumps EOs.

On Sanctuary Cities, Kelly: does not want to penalize Police Chiefs & Sheriffs for following what city council & states tell them to do

Why would he ask to change the law? DACA is not a law.

think about it man, use critical thinking.... find a permanent replacement like the bridge act, enlist act, safe act which will all be laws so he can enforce the laws as it stands.
