This is such bull crap. First, why is her speech in Spanish?! This will just make the republicans angrier and say that we can't assimilate and are trying to invade. Second, she doesn't even have good qualifications! She'll bring the same far left argument instead of saying hey we're productive and good for this county. She does not represent me! So frustrating...

I have not chatted with her, but if you disagree with some of the other influential ones, they will call you a puppet and block you.

Yeah but we can't be so demanding, this country technically doesn't owe us shit... we need to show gratitude. It's hard to face it but it'll be impossible to protect everyone here... sad to see these "influential" people represent us...

Dreamer: "Screw Trump; he is a racist xenophobe who hates all immigrants. He thinks we are all criminals. SCREW HIM."

Republicans: "Wait a minute, don't you still have DACA? Hasn't Trump said he thinks you are wonderful kids."

Dreamer: "yes, but our parents..."

What is wrong with this? Why don't you just simply write a speech in such away asking for relief for our parents from the start? Why attack a man who has the power to revoke but has not revoked DACA. Come on now.

None of us can really afford to be advancing far left puffery full of idealistic principles about the revolution. The reality is Trump will revoke DACA if we piss him off. If that happens, have the revolution put food on the table and pay your bills.

First of all she should start her speech by thanking Trump for rethinking his position regarding DACA and for expressing about us in such a positive way... instead she'll make a bitchy demanding speech...

Maybe not Trump, but his base, some of his cabinet members do believe all immigrants are criminals. I do give him credit for keeping DACA, though I wish he'd say for certain it was safe.

I don't think the point of having a DREAMer deliver a response is so they can attack Trump. I think the Democrats are giving immigrants a voice on a national platform. Let's wait to see what she says before we attack her. On a side note, I think it would have more impact if delivered in English.

Also to add: I watched her speech at DNC last year, and it was fine.

People are something else. She is protected by DACA as much as any of you. I say go to town and contact the DNC after you write your own speech and put yourself on the line with *your* story if you want your words (in English) to be read nationally.

She was selected to give the Spanish-language response to the State of the Union, not to give the standard Democratic response.

Let's hope she doesn't piss off Trump... or else it's game over for all of us...
