They aren't random for sure. I think they are going after those that they can deport ASAP, ie. those with removal orders. If they catch you for anything else, then so be it. But I think they're really trying to get people out quick. Like that DACA girl. She was in under the VWP program and can technically be deported ASAP. Messed up tho.

I believe that falls under fraud (vehicle registration fraud). If by incorrect they mean the registration sticker belonged to another car, then yeah they got him on fraud. Which is a big no no even to a LPR.
