Just don't get how some of us are taking this too lightly. This is an open and direct threat at DACA. Never was there a time, even during Obama's term, when states came together to threaten to sue.

Not really shocked, this has been theorized since February by the media, I believe the LA times reported a possible way for the Far Right to end DACA without getting Trump involved. They believed that Sessions wouldn't defend the suit and let the courts over turn DACA.

They wouldn't explicitly demand this with a deadline if they weren't serious on following through their threat to sue. These states' own reputation is at stake. And if they do carry through with it, do you expect Trump&Co. will have our back and bend over backwards, going against his own promises and supporters, to defend us in court? HECK NO! Even if he wanted to personally, he'd essentially be backed into a corner and left with no other to option but agree with these states, to save face. Just think about it!

NO! I don't see any false hopes of seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. Congress is too slow and incompetent to grant us some permanent relief, either. Just look at bridge act...what's the progress on that and all the other bills that were supposed to have easily passed after our sympathy showering by the media?

Time to start looking into plan B again...

It never ends it seems. Fuck this country, and all the republican assholes.

Those bills were introduced just in case DACA was ended. I just don't see 1 million daca kids being hung out to dry . Something positive will definitely come out of all this

Why can't these people just leave us alone ? What are inside these people's hearts? They just want to ruin our lives

It's never going to ends until it's resolved legislatively

Very high, the precedent was set with DAPA and eDaca. At this point, only congress can save us.
