Honestly I am in FULL support of a MERIT based system. The current system is just unfair and stupid. You can petition to come here only if you have a blood relative and even then it takes like 5-20 damn years! Canada has such an amazing system. I know this through experience of some of my relatives. Now is time for us to just pray and hope that they attach some sort of legalization for the existing problem that we have here! I am very very optimistic about this. I feel like slowly Trump admin may have some plans to incorporate SOME SORT of relief through legalization for the non criminal undocumented. As far as DACA recipients are concerned, I think we are top in line to be legalized!

I'm amazed at how most of you would like to see the country crumble in exchange for you to be legalized. Democrats would never sign this since the majority of naturalized citizens vote for them. Also, in year 2020, most of the population growth will come from immigrants. How the hell will the economy survive with a bunch of baby boomers retiring without people replacing them in the work force? who is going to pay taxes?
