That's what the bridge act is for, so no one loses status. Then congress can have 6 months to figure shit out.

If you think a wall/DA compromise will be easy, guess again.

I would be pleasantly shocked if they can even pass something like the Bridge Act, much less a modified Dream Act. Republicans can't even pass healthcare reform they promised for 7 years, but they are going to do CIR in 6 months?

Healthcare reform my ass. It was destroying healthcare, and they couldn't do it because they didn't have Obama to veto it. They never wanted to actually get rid of it, just get political points by opposing Obamas agenda.
