They can remove it and then not get the votes to pass whatever budget bill they need to pass. Republicans need some democrats to come on board because of fiscal conservative republicans. They need the votes.

You can propose amendments to any bill even if the amendment isn't relevant to the topic.

Still, glad to have Schumer as the Democratic Leader in the Senate, Reid was spineless and let McConnell run the senate from the backseat.

I hope they attach RACA to BRIDGE Act, and then attach DA to that combo, and if we're lucky they'll attach KIDS Act to the 3.

Well, Trump's aides did say that he won't sign a stand-alone DREAM Act, so attaching it to a must-pass bill might give us a better chance of success. He'll probably still veto the bill unless he gets something in return.

I honestly hope he gets nothing in return and has a must pass bill with clean Dream Act sent to him and he'll sign it the same way he did Russian sanctions, cursing under his breath pissed that he can't just fire congress.

If there is no funding for the wall, e-verify, or the legal immigration-reducing measure, Trump is NOT going to sign It. Why doesn't this F××king idiot (Schumer) get that? He knows it.

Well, the Russian bill was a bit different. It was veto proof, which we ain't getting. He can refuse to sign a stand alone bill if it doesn't include some form of Border Security to appease his base.

Still if it's a "EMERGENCY FUNDING SO THE GOVERNMENT DOESN'T GO BELLY UP ACT" then he might have to.

All depends what the bill itself is. Think less about Dream Act and more about what it's riding on.
