He can liberate himself. He feels boxed in inside the White House and felt handcuffed to GOP leaders. No more. He had it with McConnell — thinks he's past his prime, no longer capable of leading. Considers him low-energy. He has much more natural rapport with Schumer, a friend from the New York days.

Be smart: With the expiration of vehicles allowing simple-majority votes in the Senate, Trump achievements soon will require substantial Democratic votes. So he was going to have to pivot at some point anyway, building bridges and finding new dance partners.

Trump loves to be loved, most humans do.

I think he'll be way more keen to do whatever Dems want since it'll get him positive new coverage. Who would of thought at Election Day that trump would one day be reassuring dreamers?

I remember the fear I had, now I feel like Trump is the least of our worries, instead the awful congress.

March is too late. If DA passes it will take a few months just to implement.

The sooner the better

I think he means before the end of the year because starting in 2018 we'll be officially in 'election year'.

McConnell and others say that DA wont be debated after Obamacare repeal, tax reform, and the general budget is dealt with. Mark Meadows says February will be the time that immigration will be addressed. It makes sense since March is the deadline

They can say what they want, but they need Democratic votes in the Senate to get any of those things passed. So we'll see what happens.

I hate to say this using people who just lost their jobs after march 5 is a much better story than people who are about to lose their job.

These people are about to milk us for all we are worth and not pass anything.

I personally believe if it doesn't pass before the end of the year it has slim chances of passing.

I know this already sounds cliche but don't lose hope. I have a feeling congress will not forget about us and will act accordingly to spare our lives.

Also, don't forget POTUS could have a change of heart come March if congress fails. If not because he desires so, then because he might be forced to by the outcome of all those lawsuits brought up against him for terminating the program.
