it feels weird guise, what are the chances?

we would be the actual first bipartisan "DEAL" for a person that touts the Art of the Deal. wtf!!!

POTUS was really moved to the center the last couple of weeks ya'll. (thanks to gen kelly) he realized hella people hate him after that DACA decision on Sept 5th.

I know - we have gone thru all the background checks.

How nice would it be to just receive our GC in the mail if we already have DACA.

Edited: I noticed it says you need to get a medical exam. Which doesn't seem too bad.
I just hope it's a simple and quick process for us since we are already in the system.

On a sidenote: since DA says you have to be below 18 when you entered...did those who aged out of DACA still be eligible for DA?

He was just throwing out ideas. I don't think he'll demand any component of the raise act .

Sounds right. DA will cover much more people

I know - we gotta remain cautiously optimistic.

At first - even thinking of a US GC seemed too good to be true.

But reading everyone's posts makes me hopeful!

I'm so glad they raised the age to 18 - I know quite a few people who were left out because they were over 16 by a few days/weeks. So happy for them

anyone who has/had DACA per Dream Act 2017 Bill is automatically grandfather in.

(4) DACA RECIPIENTS.—The Secretary shall cancel the removal of, and adjust to the status of an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence on a conditional basis, an alien who was granted DACA unless the alien has engaged in conduct since the alien was granted DACA that would make the alien ineligible for DACA.

Thanks! But the way I read that is - we will all need to get background checks again - to ensure no one "has engaged in conduct since" we were granted DACA.

So stay out of trouble folks!

Side note: when the heck will they stop calling us "aliens?!" That was the very FIRST thing I noticed when I came to America...even as a kid. How they labeled us aliens - even though I came in legally. C'mon man - all humans are created equal.

oh yeah most likely, but what im saying is that if you satisfied the requirements for DACA im sure it all transfers to DA.

Yup - no doubt about that!

Having Daca is definitely an advantage. I suppose those who don't have Daca will need to go thru slightly more "vetting" - as people say.
