The timing of all this couldn’t be worse. My cousin is turning 21 in December and will sponsor my aunt, now all this wait could’ve been for nothing.

This tweet is no about raise Act. He basically doesn't want us to be able to sponsor anybody. Many republicans probably want this too.

Maybe they can add a rule when it says DREAM ACT recepients can’t sponsor anyone. I’ll be fine with that.

Cant sponsor anyone? Even the people on temporary visas are allowed to sponsor spouses as in through visas not really petition. This is ridiculous. He shouldve given them 3 months to act instead of 6. Just more drama and politics !!!!

Lol, worry about getting legal status for you first and then about sponsoring people.

We’re never going to get anything if all we do is want everything.

Keep your citizenship and sponsoring too. Give me a work permit.

I agree completely, but I'm not sure the Democrats will...

On some level, I agree! We need to be able to support our parents and family now. We can adjust with marriage and stuff afterward. With the current DA, it will take about 15 years till we can get citizenship, so the law may able to change later on! We need to focus on getting DA passed!

People need to focus on passing the DreamAct asap. Democrats should not have agreed to the continuing resolution without attaching DA to it.
All of this back and forth is useless waste of energy and time. Pass the DreamAct and solve the problem.
