no deal yo, we giving up too much for just freaking "protections"

most likely is that Trump will just cancel the 6 month phase down of DACA and continue the program.

I think we are very close to the House fulfilling tbe votes for a discharge petition.
Discharge petition votes won't be scheduled until last week of September or 1st week of October. I think they were aiming for Sept 25th

Anyone know if they can discharge a vote in the senate?

Most likely is that Dems get the dream act or some sort of protection for us in December. Mark my words.

I'm surprised WH didn't add 'parents of DACA beneficiaries must sell deport before DACA recipient gets relief''.

David M. Drucker @DavidMDrucker

I Asked @NRCC Chairman @RepSteveStivers if @SpeakerRyan would put DACA deal on floor w/out support from majority of Republicans: "No way."

You surely sound offended. I apologize, I didn't think you would take offense from that comment. Unfortunately, I'm starting to feel nothing will pass if dems don't concede some repubs demands.

For all I care, they can have everiy and more judges. If that sounds selfish so be it. PS. It must be DA.

Majority of republicans can't even agree how to fund the govt and we are holding hope out that they will compromise for us? Please, time to pressure Democrats to hold the line and not give up their votes without clean DA!!!

They have been backtracking ever since Trump had that dinner. Trump just says whatever and then goes back and says something different later. We will get something, prolly Bridge Act at the very least.

Trump said he would terminate Daca because the program was not proper legalization (through Congress). Hence, the DreamAct. Now they say they want to make DACA law, but the thing is DACA is tps and not status, so you cannot codify something temporary as it will mean that we are perpetually without status. Makes no sense.

Put DreamAct to a vote.
