Plus I'm surprised no one is mentioning that DACA recipients would have a 13-15 yr wait to become citizens, and hence would not petition parents right away. **Yes I'm aware we can petition parents as a LPR but by the time their Priority date is current it would have been the same as waiting until the DACA recipient was a US citizen |

yeah i agree but the Republicans are just offering hella "poison pill" provisions that might kill the deal.
hella low ball offers to be honest.. if GOP wants all these provisions like border sec, end of chain migration, expedited deportations etc. then they should expedite our pathway to citizenship.
i hope the Democrats offer that and say, "if you want all these GOP immigration security provisions, then you should expedite the path to citizenship for DACA holders."
