That's a trade even I wouldn't make. Raise Act would have to come with registry provision some 20 years into the future to be worth it.

I can understand border enforcement and non-immigrant visa enforcement, but Raise Act, which is something that COMPLETELY FUCKS OVER family based immigration has no place in this debate.

Parents removed from IR category.
F1, F2B, F3, and F4 categories removed.
Cap on F2A set to 88,000 MINUS any non-quota adjustment/immigrant visa (other than IR). So Asylum/Refugee/DA/etc adjustment would take from that.

Hell the system needs a permanent 245(i) or some statute of limitations, or at least getting rid of the re-entry bans. The numbers didn't balloon up until that shit happened since people would come and go, the safety valve got plugged and it inflated.
