They will start breaking eventually. Even if Ryan somehow manages to circle the wagons somehow and get 218 republicans to vote yes this is not getting through the 60 vote threshold in the senate.

Thing is Ryan isn't getting those votes. There wouldn't be a meeting planned if he could.

Yeah, their posturing will end soon. Right now they just trying to put on a show to their base that they "tried to stay strong" but in the end their hand was forced.

I think after the last stunt, we should have a new provision in the Dream Act: Time under DACA counts for naturalization purposes.

You could have a grace period to leave without triggering the 10 year ban and they'd call it amnesty. They'd call anything amnesty. Hell it's amazing they haven't been trying to dismantle the Convention Against Torture.

Exactly, so might as well have GCs as part of any deal since everything is amnesty anyways.
