No more continuing resolutions!! That is the leverage.

Republicans will sabotage DreamAct. They want not only one, but two continuing resolutions. If they agree to this, Congress will recess till the end of January and then who knows what tragedy can happen. Democrats have to do what they said they will do and not go back on their word.

Durbin's words: If they do not push for DA now, it won't get done next year.

Pelosi previously said one or two weeks for them to write the bills would make sense but nothing past this year. They’ve focused all their energy on tax reform that they greatly neglected the budget bill. Hell this whole week will probably be a brawl between house and senate to iron out the differences between both bills that passed

i have bad thoughts of him vetoing it or not faithfully executing the dream act law and sabotage it like the ACA.
This crazy world we live in. Imagine 5 years ago if someone would have told you that the DA would possibly make it to President Trump's desk for either a veto or approval. Crazy stuff.

Right? It would be very ironic. Specially since he talked so much crap about immigrants during his political campaign. I can't wait for the day until this is part of our past.

You know what I am nervous about...why the heck is it still being called a DACA fix over and over again???

It gets me kinda nervous that ultimately this Dreamer push is going to be some bullshit DACA amendment where we get the same DACA, but in bill form this time...I mean one of the more popular bills that was floated around was a work permit for 2 years or 3 years but not renewable...what the heck would that really accomplish?...geezus...

What about Dream Act?

I don't want to seem demanding, but a bit frustrated that we are at this historic moment and it may be tainted by some low ball fix that doesn't do much except bandaid a bad wound.

Anyway, I still welcome any relief we can get, and hope everything works out for all of us, and I have much love for all in Congress and all in power who are doing their best to help us.
