- Per Congressman @RepScottTaylor this is a sampling of of a much larger group of Republicans who want a solution for Dreamers IMMEDIATELY.

- "This is the right thing to do, but this is good for our economy too" ~ @RodneyDavis on why the 80 Member House GOP Main Street Coalition is focused on a solution for this year.

-NEW on press call: in order to ensure they Dreamer legislation passes this year, these Republican Members of Congress say they will not take any options of the table in terms of votes for end of year spending bills.

It means they will oppose omnibus without DA compromise?

If 80 GOP house members are standing with Dems for DA compromise, DA passage is guaranteed.

If I get my green card, I'm gonna smell it all day, stare at it all day, and slap my face to make sure I ain't dreaming.

From the same person's twitter feed regarding the letter.

Honestly, at the beginning of this I was very doubtful of anything passing. Now, there seems to be some hope.

If nothing passes in the end, it's really a shame how all these politicians (Republican and Democrat) build us up just to swiftly break us down on a matter that our lives depend on.

Another Republican publicly joined the 34 in the letter.

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Congressman David G. Valadao (CA-21) joined a group of thirty four lawmakers in sending a letter urging Speaker of the House Paul Ryan to put a permanent solution for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) on the Floor of the U.S. House of Representatives before the end of the year.

Congressman David G. Valadao stated, “These young people met their obligation coming out of the shadows, passing background checks, paying necessary fees, and enrolling in school or obtaining employment. They deserve to have confidence in what their future holds." He continued, "This is not a partisan issue and Congress must come together to provide a legislative solution so these individuals may continue to live in the only home they know: the United States."
