Do you think the conference committee can satisfy FC and moderates like Collins?

Senator Cornyn (R-TX).
Seeing as they didn’t appoint anyone from the FC, it’s pissible.
In the end, they’ll pass it, even if it’s not ideal for their donors because something is better than nothing.

“On the #DreamAct, as @SenatorDurbin said yday, we are making progress in talks with the GOP & I hope we can reach an agreement soon. Democrats support real border security & will happily join with Republicans to pass legislation to secure our border in exchange for the Dream Act."

Paul Ryan says he feels "good where we are" on passing a Continuing Resolution even if Democrats don't support the CR later today. @MEPFuller

So Dems aren't voting for a CR? No way it can pass the senate right?

Lol I don't know whether to feel positive or not, it's hard to when the president is going against us and we don't have either majorities in congress.

That needs 8 Democratic votes in the Senate. Wishful thinking, Ryan.

Not trying to be a part pooper or anything, but how many vote are required in the house to approve the spending? 218? There are 240 Repubes, so what Dems in the house want doesn't matter. Correct me if I am wrong. If the Senate is where our leverage is, we might be in trouble. One of the other articles suggests 10 Senate Dems may vote for the spending since they face re-election in red States.
