Republicans will continue to blame Democrats (as they've always done). Republicans will say that Democrats won't compromise, so no DACA fix will happen especially after January 19 when Dems lack leverage of any kind.

Let's not pretend Republicans will pass anything after January.

you guys are underestimating trump.
there'll be hell to pay from him if repubs don't get started on border security talks, and the best way to get it started is pairing border stuff with a relief for us.

Now I understand why liberals say democrats are a different side of the same coin.

Maybe it's all just a show and they are all in it together.

Unfortunately most of us, including myself, though that we might actually get Dems standing up for us. Obama is the only one who ever did something for us (by passing DACA), but even he didn't push for DA when both houses were controlled by Dems, nor did any Dem. Goes to show that despite all past experiences, we still choose to hope in the Democratic Party.

But it also could be that they're all in it together in striking a deal and they're just keeping quiet to avoid backlash! We will have to wait it out.

Everyone. Remember these quotes from Senator Flake and Democratic Leader Schumer?

Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer, speaking on the Senate floor on Tuesday said, “We are in the process of negotiating with Republicans to provide a significant investment in border security in exchange for DACA. These talks continue to progress, and I’m hopeful we can reach an agreement.”

“We’re still working ... we’re very close” to an agreement, Flake, one of a few Republicans and Democrats in the Republican-controlled Senate leading the effort, told reporters.

It came from this article

I know there has not been a lot of promising news coming out today. Some times no news, is good news. As the saying goes.
