I don't know. This is my personal opinion but I would rather they just take everything away from me. I have lived here for almost all of my life. I don't remember anything from before I came here. I love America. Getting DACA was amazing when I did get it and even today, it provides me a level of protection that I feel grateful for considering many undocumented immigrants don't have these protections. However if the BRIDGE Act is passed instead of a path to citizenship bill, I will see that as the United States telling me that I don't belong here and that they are willing to exploit my hopefulness that I will one day belong even though they know it's hopeless for me to think that way. The Bridge Act means that they want me to just shut up about my desire to be treated as a full member of society and to simply work and pay taxes and enrich a country that doesn't see my value. I personally can't continue to live that way so I would rather they be blunt and tell me to just leave so I get some closure and give up my dreams of living in the country that I had grown to love and look for a new country to love, a country that will love me back.

Racism is a powerful, powerful thing. It's like we're here trying to pull up a chair to the table with many many offerings, many talents, many skills to straighten this country for the very people who want us out and they just say No.

Next week is the week. Everything leading up to next week is smoke and mirrors. Keep everyone guessing, let it quiet down just before the holidays when most people are off of work and not paying too much attention then.... Merry Chrismahanukwanzakah!!!

Then when the haters are in an uproar...the government is quiet. Let everyone speculate. Wait for another scandal to hit and The Dream Act or any other suitable substitute will be the least of the Republican public's problems.

The real powers that be got us.

Yup. Democrats can't afford to be fundamentalists. Immigration or no immigration.

Dude, concise thoughts!

We don't control anything. It will be Bridge Act or Dream Act. Nobody knows and we do not have the power to choose. I don't know why people seem to be complaining about taxes. I think of it as rent I am paying to live in this beautiful country. No, I am not entitled to the same benefits as citizens and legal residences and I am okay with that. My parents made a mistake and I am paying the price for it. Life is not fair. Lets grow a pair and enjoy each day at a time!

We are lucky to be in US where they are even CONSIDERING giving us legal status. Any other country would be talking about kicking us out a long time ago!

Me too. Honestly, I will take the Bridge Act if we can travel but the current version of the bill does not allow travel.
