Of course they won't shut it down. I said it before, we aren't as important as we think we are. Dems will get CHIP funding, disaster relief and DACA fix will be left until 2018, on its own.
Finally someone who understands. At this point, the most we can hope for is the Bridge Act around March, but most likely it won't pass as the controlling interest is not interested in passing it.

If democrats don’t do shit it won’t go well for them. The liberal base wants a daca fix. I think they are totally misreading this if they think people will let it slide into next year peacefully. Times have changed, but these old ass members of congress haven’t. They think it’s still early 2000s with bush and shit.

Hey if all we can get is the Bridge Act in March 2018, what the heck!. I will stay in this country 5 more years, work my ass off, gather as much money as I can and then get the hell out. I wanna go see the world, go do stuff. We are young, well educated, make good money and pay a shit-load in taxes, and they don't want us here. Fine! go pay some US citizen's unemployment check while he lives in his mom's basement, plays video games, smokes weed and eats hot pockets the whole day! The American Dreamers!
