simple as that, everyone else who came to this country legally should be able to petition for their families.

anyone who came here illegally should not be allowed to petition for family members ever, if they are ever granted an amnesty. that's just fair.

That's not how the Constitution works. If people become citizens, one group of citizens cannot have a privilege that another group of citizens doesn't have.

spouses and minor children would still be allowed. The "end to chain migration" only applies to parents, siblings etc.
