You cannot accept that kicking the can down the road is ok. I don't trust McConnell. I think the GOP is trying to make the Democrats lose their leverage. If the Dems are not willing at the very least to threaten with a government shutdown, what makes all of you think the Democrats will be willing to shut the government down on the 19th if the GOP once again decides it needs more time to find a fix to a solution?
Exactly. This is just not acceptable.

By then leverage will be reduced and that's what they want. They're being stupid by showing weakness and not drawing a line against threatening a shutdown and the GOP are noticing. Plus they'll have to raise the debt ceiling, too and that takes too much leverage away.

Not happening dude. Either it happens this December, or we are fucked. What makes you think that the Democrats will all of a sudden have balls to pressure the GOP to schedule a vote by Jan. 19th?

Jan will turn into Feb. February into March, and nothing will get done if this shit continues.

I was just going to post the same thing. Why do they allow those two idiots in an immigration deal when we all know they are never going to vote for a bill with DREAM Act.

Nah. I'll vote for the most liberal candidates I can find. Someone who makes Nancy Pelosi look like Ayn Rand.
