I understand RAISE Act is cruel but wouldn't it be better for Democrats to accept the deal since it will finally give the 800,000 dreamers a permanent status. I understand parents of dreamers cannot be legal immigrants from RAISE Act, but they can still get visa (for 10 year periods) to visit their kids. They can keep renewing their Visas as well. If they do want to work, they can apply for work visas as well. Please correct me if I am wrong here.

they won't support RAISE because we're only 800k and that doesn't offset the amount of potential voters from the third world they'd lose out on by letting RAISE get through.

Fair enough. What about the Dreamers? I believe they should support the RAISE Act and Border Security in exchange for permanent legal status. I think this is a fair bargain.

it's not just dems either.
republican donors are bankrolling the push against RAISE, because they love their outsourcing more than their country.

as for dreamers stance on it, most of them are brainwashed and will never vote anything but democrat, so you have to take that into consideration when we talk about stuff they would support.
they'll tell you RAISE is white supremacist, hateful, etc all these buzzwords.
but really i personally do support RAISE, the immigration system is being abused and needs a serious reform.
the benefits of RAISE passing offset the idiotic notion of it being too "beneficial" for white america like some morons believe.
all i would ask for in return for RAISE is a shorter pathway to citizenship, but border security + RAISE is fine with me.
it's much better than increased interior enforcement, but some deluded dreamers would rather us stay undocumented.

Most oppose raise because they're closing one of the few ways to become legal and not opening new ones.... Even knowing full well the current family ties system gets abused.

I don't think any corporate lobbyists care about RAISE a lot. Of course Facebook/Google can complaint about anything Trump comes up with. Outsourcing will not be affected because of RAISE since it does not address H1B. Hence no need for lobbyists to bankroll for pushing against this bill.

I would personally like to know why certain Dreamers are so much opposed to this exchange.

What is your problem with interior enforcement? Do you fear this might serve some racist agents to pursue their agenda?

But they can always use a visitors visa or workers visa. Considering all the vile stuff Trump has said during his campaign I think this is a way more liberal stance from him. It would be foolish to expect anything more.

trust me they do.
there's another anti-outsourcing bill that's been so suppressed we literally have never heard about it since it was introduced.
im not worried about increased interior enforcement as long as it's fair and reasonable.
most dreamers will fear monger that it would target their relatives that haven't done anything criminal, but ending sanctuary cities is something absolutely necessary.
we could start by doing that, since it would rid a lot of criminal illegals.
it is possible you'll have sub-50 IQ retards like joe arpaio using it as covert way to treat us inhumanely, but i have faith it won't be as widespread as they think.

also, most dreamers are opposed to this exchange because they seem to think they owe anything to a group of people unlike them.

you really think other groups would treat us the same way, lmao??
i know countless DACA'ers and dreamers that have been treated like shit by other immigrants, who are supposedly our allies.
