Wall is pointless, but less impactful. Easy to say this is fair when you haven't been waiting years outside the US as an adult child of a Green Card Holder or USC to join your parents.

Bipartisan negotiations continue in good faith among senators who understand what is at stake. #DreamActNow - @SenatorDurbin

I don't know why the whole family immigration thing gained so much steam, but if they want to negotiate that point the only fair way of doing so is by not allowing those who get relief to benefit from it.

Agreed that is fair. Anything that impacts everyone needs to dealt with through CIR.

God, I LOVE you after this.

A wall in my opinion for Trump is a way of pleasing his followers into insuring them he completed his promises he campaigned on and also provided us with a permanent solution without anything in return . That’s why he needs the fucken Wall .....

Right, the original deal a dream act coupled with real border security, not a 18-33 billion dollar wall that Trump knew would be a non starter. Then that asshole Tom Cotton got involved and so did FAIR, numbers USA, Mark krikorian and now they pretty much want CIR without dealing with the entire 11 million undocumented population. This is why Pelosi is going to have to ram it through a spending bill and force Trump's hand.

He didn’t say anything about EXISTING applications. But for future applications they should completely do away with chain migration for relatives. It is stupid, unfair, and totally uncompetitive.
