Hey, he changed it from "illegal immigrants" to "non-citizens." He also says the "far left" is to blame. At least he's not blaming it on us.

Trump:
The Democrats are turning down services and security for citizens in favor of services and security for non-citizens. Not good!
https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/...26609326100480

Democrats have shut down our government in the interests of their far left base. They don’t want to do it but are powerless!

Sources here believe it is a stretch to get to 60 yeas today. We think a few more Democrats will vote yes getting them into the mid to upper fifties. But we don’t think they are there yet. Senate Democratic Caucus meets at 10. Houss Democratic Caucus at 12:30.

On @GMA, @PressSec: "Sometimes members like Sen. Schumer need a little help and guidance getting through big policy negotiations ... if they need help understanding it, we'd be happy to send some people over there to explain it to them"

Todd Schulte Retweeted Jennifer Epstein
"Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to return to the entire GOP strategy of trying to stop the President - who ran as a high-stakes dealmaker - from being allowed to negotiate"

I agree with Todd Schulte, I do think GOP is worried about Trump getting involved in the negotiating. This is why DEMs need to hold the line. The longer this goes on, the more likely he will want this resolved.

I can smell Stephen Miller all over this. I wish he would just get a stroke already.

Dems need to hold and drag this out until Trump gets tired and tells everyone to f off and decides on something himself.

This doesn't mean much. Trump will call us "non-citizens" today, "illegal alien" tomorrow, "MS-13 Gang members Amnesty seeking illegals pouring over the border" the day after and also sometime call us "terrific kids".

New poll shows DEMs are looking good for 2018:

@ThisWeekABC

JUST IN: Democrats solidify their position in the 2018 midterms in the latest @ABC News/WaPo poll, maintaining a 12-point lead among registered voters in congressional preference, and improving to 14 points among likely voters. http://abcn.ws/2DxakMw
