This can turnout into a Black Mirror episode.

Dreamers in the US push for permanent stay, they get what they wish for but with a price - slave labor, doesn't lead to citizenship, you live in constant fear that you won't meet the eligibility requirements - its so psychologically mind fucking that we end up self deporting.

Nooope.

Goodlatte and Labrador need to be booted out of office since they spend the taxpayers' hard-earned money- and they gladly take our money, too - persecuting undocumented immigrants instead of improving the life of constituents in their hime states. Btw, VA and ID have huge rates of welfare, financial assistance, MEDICAID, and MEDICARE use by native-born citizens.
Sad things is they were both immigration lawyers. Goodlatte is retiring and Labrador is running for governor as well. Two people who are leaving congress want to screw us .

Right. I am not sad, I am disgusted. They do this out of spite.

The only good news about the article is even they don't think they are at 218 votes in the House.
Why is that good news? they won't bring a senates bill to the floor anyway.

Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Hoyer better start working on this stat, right? They didappeared while the Senate was acting out the shut down.

Act over. When do we hear Dem House leadership's strategy that does not involve handing out three-month extensions to pay Republicans to do whatever they want to whomever they want??

They are only spoken to when Dem votes are needed, they are not needed in the House. I don't even know why Dems even show up to work.

Speaking of the USA act according to the congress.gov website they got 1 more co-sponsor added yesterday. Why is Goodlatte bill being discussed over the USA act.

Goodlatte bill has 77 cosponsors all GOP. Usa Act has 55 cosponsors, roughly 50%/50%. You already know the answer.

Because Ryan promised the Freedom Caucus to put it up for a vote in exchange for their votes in support of a temporary spending bill and it’s also a conservative DACA bill backed by the White House.
