Well the GOP wants to change the immigration laws. To have less illegal and legal immigration. Democrats just want to use us to win elections. So they will try to stall. But since the GOP want to push their agenda. They will not let things stay as they are.

As senator cornyn said after he was asked what would happen if democrats don't cave in to donald trumps proposal. He said well daca will expire. They don't give a fuck about us and they will use us against democrats if they keep stalling just like CHIP. So they will have to let some sort of dream act pass ofc border security and all of that.

Or nothing passes, both sides say they tried and ICE will start knocking on some doors because with all the info they have on us it will be like fishing in a barrel.

Nah. That is not gonna happen this is a golden opportunity for the GOP to push their racist agenda and still look decent.

They will get the Latino vote if they do the immigration reform. While cutting immigration it's a win win for them

I really hope you're right because this is a very stressful way of life we are in now with all this politics and headlines about us, some good but most bad, I don't think they ever stop and just think about much of a toll it takes on young adults trying to make something of themselves. Citizenship would be nice of course but most of us just wanna have all the paper work to work, buy our houses, travel abroad and live life without the constant fear of deportation.

Let's just be honest. Democrats got blamed heavily for shutting down the government. They are NOT going to shut down the government. There are still groups advocating for a clean Dream Act, but at this point, the best we can get is Border Security and some sort of relief for us. Although I am being 100% honest here. I truly feel this issue is not going to be resolved, and then Trump can say it was the Democrat's fault we don't have protections and that's the end of the dream. Sucks that my future was put in the hands of Democrats and Republicans agreeing to something. I feel like that's the beginning of a really shitty joke

Nope! In the DACA case appeal, they stayed the injunction but they dismissed all punitive damages.
