They cannot leave without an agreement on Dreamers. If the safety of Dreamers and the success of a dream act plan depend on these leaders, then we need to hold them accountable for all the support and hard work the immigrant community unconditionally gives them.

Legalization for all Dreamers (no age cap) + reasonable funding for border security - not to persecute families, in exchange for fiscal year funding.

All else belongs in a CIR plan.

yeah that isnt really gonna happen. lol

after that lame ass shutdown a couple of weeks ago, both sides know immigration won't be part of any spending/debt ceiling agreement.

actually had alot of useful contributions to this site.

i started the legislation sticky thread about pending legislations regarding Dreamers and continue to update the co-sponsors and new legislation introduced ever since last year with swim19, i have contributed and broke news information about the DACA Injunction that happened on Jan 13th, i provided information to other users about renewals and timelines, i shared and exchanged info with other users about the REAL ID ACT that TSA started to enforce on 1/22/2018 and how to get 2 or 5 year driver licenses in CA.

other than just pushing political rhetoric, what contributions have u done here to affect DACAers everyday lives on this forum?

exactly, nothing. you're just like the politicians you continue to critcize. all you guys do is fucking meetings.

March 5 is really our true deadline.
I am with ECW on this. I am not sure if we will get the Bridge Act. We might get a citizenship deal.

Even Trump is tweeting "March 5th Deadline," so go by that.

I meant to this thread.

I work actively on the ground with organizations in a state that actually defends all immigrants, not just the politically convenient. Just reposting others' work and info won't cut it. All you listed above can easily be found in a 5 second Google search.

What state are you in? Are you interested in organizing?

it doesnt really work like that, we are all a family here as a Dreamer community, google searching info isnt just the same when you share experiences with the same people that are on the same boat as you.

you dont tell your parents, oh just google search it you'll get the info. that's not very reassuring.

as much as i hate DACA-IR-DA, believe it or not.. he gets all his information on here.

as a progressive, you should know better to empathize with human connection.

There is really no excuse. They wasted nearly 10 years with Obama that they could have engaged in negotiations as they claim to do now. Nothing to stop them. They just did not care enough. They criminalized immigrants, advanced Secure Communities, increased deportations, and with a majority of 60 votes with an all Democratic government, codified a mandate to fill detention centers. All by Democrats.

I think a lot the Dreamers in DC feel this way, which gives me hope that Democrats will think twice before refusing any deal and using us for the election.
