I really hope this doesn't embolden other states to do the same.

Like the drivers license bar for DACA recepients. It may only affect a handful of us, but it makes our lives that much more difficult.

This sounds like something they would do to colored people back in the day 'Institutional racism', and later they wondered why most of them weren't professional or educated, this is institutional racism against DREAMERS

You are not crazy.
This would be covered by the 14th amendment, the Equal Protection Clause.
Your point is exactly what one would need to argue in court, but one would need the resources to sue the State government, which I find unlikely for an individual, and an organization like the ACLU might take it up.

If it was a government job I know they can restrict it to citizens, and could argue it's security related, but the argument doesn't hold water when it comes to regular jobs with private companies not contracted by the gov't.
