Wouldnt it be smart of trump to force a deal right after receiving the money of the spending bill? It would make him look like he played the democrats so bad

Dems know to keep their powder dry right now. The Trump administration is on downward spiral right now.

So it seems like the REPs and Trump are OK with expanding DACA to include aged out dreamers but not OK with giving them citizenship in exchange for the wall alone. Dems should have taken the deal IMO, I mean once DACA is codified and becomes an law it becomes more difficult to end it and it would include the 1.8 mil population for just the wall.
It wasn't age out dreamers, they offered Dreamers that aren't old enough, under 16.

Age out dreamers have paid taxes for 20 years, and made a live in the US. We have been "pending" for 20 years and this has truly impacted our lives, just sad.

Good for Democrats. They shouldn't accept anything that has no citizenship offers in exchange for the wall.

Oh, look, they 'declined' to increase 10,000 detention beds, but they gave ICE $4.1 billion for detention and removal.

César on Twitter: "No #immigration detention bed quota, but with $4.1 billion dedicated to enforcement, detention, & removal operations, ICE has money to put lots of people in #immigration detention & deportation pipeline. More analysis of bill’s #crimmigration provisions at https://t.co/4AO2ogY8ss"

They did play the immigrant community. "You get all the money you need to kick people out, but don't write what or how."

They are not enemies; we immigrants have to stop excusing their non-efforts.

Choosing not to use their leverage after they promised to us they will fight with their nails and teeth, using judges to reinstate daca so there is no pressure and use us for midterm elections. Giving money to ice when there is nothing done to protect dreamers. And then they have the nerve to call us americans as apple pie. Saying we are the inspiration and pride of america. Giving an 8 hour speech about dreamers.

They are evil.

what ever happened to PR for daca people in exchange for full wall funding, and then we'd deal with the broader population?
What fantasy world are you living in? I don't remember Trump/Republican leadership ever offering this.
