I agree. Most Republicans have historically obstructed.

But, where is that powerful blue wave that people brag so much about. There was a pretty solid blue wave from like 2008 to 2010 that sure as hell did not wash away those obstructionist Republicans and blue dogs in the Senate.

However, on the Democratic side, for decades they have been praising how much they love us. Obama promised to pass immigration reform on his first year in office when he held a majority and he did nothing.

Other than Pelosi passing the DA in 2010, only for it to be killed by 5 other Democrats up for re-election that year voted NO, yet again killing our chances. Yes Republicans voted against that bill, but again I say, they will work to make our lives miserable, I don’t expect anything less from them. Harry Reid could have easily gone nuclear had he wanted to but he didn’t, this was all based on pure politics.

When the Republicans are in charge, our lives become more miserable, and some done on permanent basis considering they have the power to make anything become law. However when the Democrats are in charge, all we get is nothing, we still become the forgotten, and the sad part is that they are and we’re our only hope.
2012-2017 we always felt things could only get better if not stay the same with us. But then trump came and now are wishing we are hoping things can remain the same. And whose fault is this? Republicans. Which party even at majority cannot get shit done because they cannot agree with each other.

Think about it now we are praying things can just remain the same

Again I’m not saying Republicans are not at fault, but I think you’re expectations are a lot higher for Republicans then mine. I don’t hold the Republicans to any expectations and certainly don’t hold them to any standards as they don’t have any. So any actions that they take against us does not surprise me one bit.

But the Democratic side had a big chance when Obama took over in early 2009. They had the advantage, and they simply blew it.

My point is that the Republicans when in power don’t care about the rule book, and the Democrats when in power overthink a lot of the issues that puts them in an ability of inactions.

There’s a reason why the Republicans have the advantage in gerrymandering and in the Supreme Court in addition to statewide offices. This party would do anything to extend its powers throwing the rule book completely out of the window.

This.

Democrats: "But but, we are powerless. These damn Republicans obstruct! We can't do anything!!" Grow some fucking balls and hold the line on budget standoffs.

Like it or not this man/woman has a point. The best they're willing to give us is Goodlatte.. and Goodlatte 2.0 but that won't pass either because they were too busy arguing with each other instead of compromising.

In one corner you have a weak party who use us for political gain and the other party basically likes to paddle and fondle our booties with no spit or lube. I'd rather get used for gain than fondled.
