Kind of pathetic really...Just not a lot of places to just take a road trip to in Texas that's desirable or safe. Can't go west too far...can't go South. Louisana, is possible I guess but not sure what's so great there other than NOLA. I saw Lake Charles once while passing through and it looked unpleasant. Same with Arkansas...but I guess that's not fair if just passing through.
