That's as far as I understood it. Until they official decline to take the case, there's still a chance they will. Today was the first day they could decide to take the case, but not the only day.

Question is, does POTUS have to wait for the Supreme Court, or can he end DACA as long as he follows the appropriate rules?

Inaction on DACA today could suggest that even if the court does agree to hear it, the court might put it off until next term. Or of course the court could turn it down completely, as soon as Monday.

Trump can Rescind it any time he wants. He can order it to be rescinded following the proper order.

No, he won't. He isn't going to because he's so insistent on waiting on SCOTUS.

The way he rescinded why doesn’t that count as proper? I Know this is stupid question.

Y'all don't get too excited, they will take the case. Clearly you guys don't follow the court much. The big cases are always saved for last.

Bro, we gotta take any win as a win. No matter how small. Atleast it will get delayed till the fall now, more time for people to renew.

And since they didnt take it this spring-summer, Trump cant use the reason hes waiting on SCOTUS to make a deal. He gotta make a deal now!!!

What u mean? He said DACA is not on the table till SCOTUS decides on DACA.

Obviously they didnt take it. So what is he waiting for on DACA then?
