I’ll be reintroducing the #DreamAct, offering #Dreamers a chance at a path to citizenship. As a member of the FY 2019 DHS funding bill conference committee, I’m also working with colleagues to develop smart, effective border security--not POTUS's costly & unjustified border wall.
I appreciate Roybals efforts here.

Roybal is a Dem and is mentioning dreamers in midst of border security talks. The excuse that Dems shouldnt mention daca because they dont want to get blamed is no longer valid.

A Democrat with balls.

I was watching CNN this morning and the host was interviewing a Democratic representative... He is not one of the 17 that is doing the negotiations, but he said that they might give Trump some money for some type of a barrier... The CNN host asked how about trading permanent protection for the Dreamers. The Democratic representative said that they were two different issues...

So yeah, we are getting totally screwed for no reason. Trump would have accepted the DREAM ACT for the WALL deal; but the Democrats seem to have other agendas. They simply do not want to give him a "Win." They want to make Donald a one term president... We saw how that played out for the Republicans when they pledge to make Obama a one term president...

I have been saying it all along. Democrats are ineffective in getting things done. Durbin should have resigned long time ago, probably back in 2010 when he could not whip the votes for the Dream Act. How can an issue could be one of your top priorities for almost two decades, but you couldn't get any type of reform on it. He is running for the Senate again in 2020, and I bet he will print our pictures on cardboards and give teary speeches on the Senate floor. The justice Democrats should primary him and put in someone like AOC.

It’s just frustrating that even when Obama is no longer in office, the other side still hammers dems about border security. And the dems give in, which, sure, whatever. But they’ve never really gotten back anything they say they want. At some point they should hold their ground and stop pushing things for later.

Because all of the tech companies that donate to Democrats are gonna make a lot of money from “smart” border security

You have to be kidding me. This was offered over a year ago and was rejected, why is it so hard to understand.

You do not know what would have happened if there were no injunctions on DACA... Once we were able to renew again, nobody wanted to make a deal.

Trump did make an offer to the Democrats, the half baked Bridge Act, for the Wall. However, the Democrats do not want to counter offer anything. Why? Because they do not want to give him a Win. They want to make Trump a one term president... And we ALL know how that turned out for the Republicans when the Republicans wanted to make Obama a one term president...

I take back my prediction guys. Trump is going to win re-election. Dems are still a bunch of do nothing idiots. They are becoming too extreme to achieve anything and in the process will alienate part of the electorate. This whole socialism crap is detested by Hispanics. Watch them lose a bunch of the Hispanic vote next election. Trump is already exploiting that weakness.

I think all of us would be better off if trump is a one term president. At least the next dem president should be able to reinstate daca on day one.
