I believe the general consensus here when most of us submitted renewals earlier this year was that if SCOTUS strikes the program down next term USCIS would very likely have to process what they have on hand. We all got biometrics even with some of us having expirations in 2020. If you have the $500, I would do it just for the peace of mind.

Lol should I play chicken with July 8 and renew during my normal time? I mean yea there's the pro of peace of mind, but I rather expire Q2 2022 than Q4 2021. But then again, sometimes expiring early lets you renew early too so you don't get fucked with whatever shenanigans that can happen 1.5 years from now lmao. Damn this chess game of renewal.

Would they allow renewals sent a year early to proceed tho? Sounds like the anti immigrant people would never allow that.

Send it now. I expire May 2020 and sent mine in January of this year, did the biometrics and hope to get a new renewal back before SCOTUS rules on this train wreck.
By “meanwhile”, does he mean until SCOTUS takes DACA or until Hanen gives a ruling? I’ve been confused what happens DACA when there are conflicting rulings. Giving SCOTUS pressure to take up this case is one thing, but would it possibly end the program while it waits for SCOTUS to take up the case?

I dont think the conflicting rulings will cause DACA to die, now it has to go to the supreme pizza court.

There they will decide our fate, no way handen can just re-cancel daca gain. What stops another place from re-opening daca again?
