One theme that is starting to emerge is the fact that DHS earns a ton of money from our applications. How many jobs are on the line if DACA is ended?

Sorry dear, but last I checked, no one has stolen any money or assets from me.

What has been stolen from you?

New article hinting that DHS is exploring DACA fee hikes starting next year.

Sounds good to me. I'm confident Dreamers are more than capable of paying $1000 every two years if needed.

They can pass on the cash to support welfare for Rednecks (ironically) leeching off the government in good ol' Hicktown, USA.

Side note: I'm not saying its going up to $1000. I could be less it could be more.

Ehhh, I'm nobody to speculate on what others can pay and cannot pay because situations are different. I just hope it is not an effort to discourage people from applying if they can't put together the cash.

I've seen a few people mention that starting January 2020 there will be a new fee for DACA renewal. Current one is 495$. I know that. That's why i was asking.

If one cannot afford $1K every 2 years, I am not sure what they are doing with their DACA. Even students can work part-time to be able to pay that.
