Trump is a different type of breed. He knows that if he passes this he will accomplish something no other president ever has, not to mention he can tell the Latino community “I made it happen”.

You guys make no sense. All the things you're discussing, Trump could've done any time before the DACA ruling. I've said that Trump should bring a good deal and force dem's hands long time ago and it's a win-win situation for him. He will get latinos vote back in both cases. He has not done it and he could've done it at any time.

After the SC says Trump can end DACA, it gives him more bargaining and that's it. Whatever deal he would've proposed before the ruling, he's going to ask for more.

In simple terms, it won't be 4 pillars, it'll be at least 5 or more because he will have more leverage. It makes no sense otherwise. Why obtain more leverage and then back down?

Unless the SC rules that Trump has to wait at least 6 months to end it (after the election) or something that pushes this issue after the election, he will ask for more than he's asked for before.

So many stupid ass people on this forum. Jesus fucking Christ.

If Trump wins reelection, what is the fucking point of Trump acting AFTER the election!? HE CAN'T GET ELECTED A THRID TIME. He has nothing to gain when giving us relief after winning the election. He's going to be a hypocrite, go against his base, and seek a solution for us becuase he deeply cares about us? LOL

Just cause it hasn't happened in the past, doesn't mean anything about the future.
There are different variables in play.
Trump
Coronavirus.
Supreme court about to terminate daca any day now.
Trump will certainly win2020 and has nothing to lose.

It just makes sense for republicans to have a deal ready, with their 600 Pillars in exchange for DACAs. Why waste a good opportunity.

Many republicans in their base would be happy to exchange us, for border security, and halting chain migration.

Originally Reagan's amensty was supposed to fix this situation by also including border security, but that never materialized, so now we have the problem AGAIN.

Trump will demand massive concessions or we will get screwed.

I hope Trump does something for us to bolster his reelection chances because honestly that's the only reason he would do anything.

^^^Exactly! Trump will use us as pawns and at the end he will just blame Democrats for not accepting his 100% demands.

Plus he had Sen. Tom Cotton (Arkansas) there and Purdue dude, so yeah I don't see how they would support legalization for us. They are hard core anti-legalization, at least Cotton is.

AND! don't forget this: as long as Stephen Miller is in the White House, we will get SHIT!

Guess what ? House and senate Democrats will NEVER accept those concessions just to benefit dreamers. That’s why I say you guys who are hopeful about a situation are not being realistic. On top of that , Mark Meadows the former chairman of the freedom caucus is going to be his new chief of staff . Good luck with him and miller giving him advice lmao .

The best we can hope for is a stop-gap measure bill (DACA legislatively for 2 years). And that's only if Trump is willing to sign that with no other concessions.
