Pelosi retreated on her immigration demands. Nothing related to DACA will be in the bill. Sad because this would have been the first time DACA would have been authorized by Congress.

At least she had us in mind. Schumer on the other hand will always stick to his “dreamers can’t occupy the entire stage” tactic.

With that being said, this doesn’t surprise me. Democrats have always been weak when it comes to negotiating. This was their chance to be aggressive considering they were bailing out a Republican president and a Republican senate from an ailing economy.
