Let's go! There he is...JOEY gearing up from downtown! Kammy can assist! With will and determination, a MASSIVE deal is imminent in 2021 and surely attainable. The Great Immigration Compromise of 2021! Joey can leverage his Senate experience and relationships to foster a compromise and bring on some GOP and Blue Dog Dem Support so we can secure the necessary votes!

I agree. We need this momentum for DA. CIR is DOA.

How do you know that, specifically? Just sheer will and determination and Joe's Senate experience? That's all your going off on?

Given the heavy defeat of Trump Admin, I strongly think that a lot of GOPers will slowly come to their senses and see that indeed the electorate wants change and is totally opposed to draconian policies like the anti-immigrant ones under Trump/Stephen Miller admin and hence many will offer support. Senators like Lindsay Graham, Marco Rubio, John Cornyn etc are old time immigration reform advocates and I expect them to play a big role. All we need now is to pray and advocate for willingness to compromise (on both sides). For sure for sure I think Dreamers will get legalized this year....CIR I'm not too sure (if in 2021)...but again I've been noticing a lot of impossible becoming possible lately, I wouldn't rule it out.

Also, it seems to me like Biden Admin is going to be very aggressive with getting results and finally quit using issues for political purposes. One indication of the aggressiveness I see is the planned invoking of Defense Production Act and boosting COVID-19 vaccinations. Just overall the rhetoric coming from Biden just seems very very strong and I feel like he has deep relationships in the Senate to forge a deal.

Well, I guess some of us have to be optimists.

This is a heavy defeat they've taken (Georgia Senate...Ninja Raphael and Young Ossoff were phenomenal). Also, I go by a lot of what and how I hear things coming out of their mouths. As I had expected, Mitchy McConnell in the end will fully back election results. Lindsay Graham also ditched Trumpy at the end. Because these people know whats the truth. The particular GOPers I would expect strong opposition from will be the likes of Teddy Cruz and Tommy Cotton, but there's many who I do have faith in to provide YAY votes like Lankford, Cornyn, Graham, Tillis, Rubio, Murkowski etc. Democrats need to make sure they don't push something that is OUTRAGEOUSLY crazy like "citizenship for all" especially the caravan that is coming through. They need to focus on adjusting thsoe who have been here for years like 5-10 years + and no criminal records. 100% Dreamers are going to be legalized in 2021.

2Face, what's with the nickname usage? Very much like the guy you supported, Trump.

You always say you sense something big coming, but nothing ever has happened. No reason to trust someone's analysis/predictions when they don't have a track record and have stated they don't care for the reasons behind anything.*Yawn*

Separate of what you think. I don't see Republicans coming to their senses. I also don't see Dems capable of doing some mudslinging and playing dirty to get things done. I have no faith and still think Dreamers should not hold out on future legislation from Congress and instead, use the next 4 years that we have a Democratic president in office not threatening deportation and use existing options and avenues to gain relief. At the very least, in case no legislation passes, I hope Biden uses executive power to expand DACA and solidify AP so people can reenter with inspection and go on to easily do AOS. Not the most ideal, but a step up from nothing passing through congress.

Sure, call and email your Senators, hold demonstrations, but don't hold your breath.

Because Democrats don't really care about our situation.

They only use us for votes and their plan is to make all illegal immigrants that entered as adults citizens so Republicans are not on power.

Its very simple really.

But fake news media won't ever report this.

Democrats are already scared of 2022 midterms and moderates won't support something that can be viewed as amnesty.

Republicans are at least consistent with their opposition.

Most illegals in the USA today don't even speak English.

Us Dreamers are just gonna have to find other ways to legalize, either through marriage or other existing venues.

I do HOPE Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) get together and propose a middle of the road fix to DREAMERS.

Fuck the rest of the immigrants. We were brought her without out consent.

That includes my very own ignorant and backwards family.
