I think this move will take the pressure off the senate to actually get a deal done. A regulation can be removed but it usually takes 2- 3 years if I am remembering correctly and not done through executive order. This would only be a false sense of security.

I get the feeling that dems don't want to deal on Daca and dreamers for Border security and asylum reform. Seem like a sensible deal to try and end what is happening at the border.

Their approach right now makes no sense.

Last year Schumer was willing to give Donnie his wall, and they still didn’t take it. Republicans don’t want to do anything that involves us getting some permanency without restricting future immigration. They can’t win without the electoral college. It’s just going to get more and more difficult for them to stay in power. Their only hope is stifle any progress.

Their main concern is red states flipping blue.. Texas and AZ. If more dreamers leaned republican then they would be all for legalizing us.

Since facts dont care about feelings, we always have had republican support, again and again it has been shown that out of all the illegals, we are the only ones that both parties want legalized.

Grown ass adults still watching CNN/Univision and eating up the mainstream media BS like good NPCs.

If only that Republican support came through for us in 2010 and supported the DA. Or anytime in the last 4 years when they were in power to make something reasonable happen for us.

Asshat hypocrite. You should leave and find a MAGA dreamer forum to join.

We had conservative voters support but never GOP congressional support when it mattered.

@camiloreports
León Rodríguez, who oversaw DACA as USCIS director, said the rule will eliminate "one potentially significant area of challenge" faced by the program.

Judge Andrew Hanen is set to issue a ruling in a lawsuit seeking to have the Obama-era program declared unlawful and terminated.

@camiloreports
Judge Hanen concluded in 2018 that the Obama administration should have implemented DACA through the rule-making process and allowed the public to weigh in on the policy before it was enacted.

The new Biden administration rule would be open to public comments.

O really?
Is that why Pelosi and Scuckmer preferred to shut down the government last time instead of compromising a little? People need to do some critical thinking sometimes.
