And while I agree with the "who gives a fuck what Republicans think of us" mentality, the truth is: Democrats in charge do.. hence the tip-toeing around everything.

Where's THEIR action NOW?
Being docile isn’t going to help. Keep fucking shit up. Shauuuu!

I'm glad the activist isn't "sitting back," but people have to understand how Republicans frame this: LOOK! AN ILLEGAL HARASSING A LAWMAKER FOR CITIZENSHIP IN THE BATHROOM! REEEEE.

It did not benefit us, no matter how anyone spins it.

Listen I get what your saying regarding the bathroom situation, but you also have to understand that emotions are running at an all time high because this was the closest we have ever gotten to legalization and the Democrats are screwing us over BIG TIME. And it's not just a Sinema thing. Maybe she became the easier target considering how destructive she's acting when it comes to passing legislation without Republican support.

But if there is no fix now when it comes to DACA, there surely won't be any fixes in 2022 when not one politician will want to even discuss our issues due to the fact that it will be an election year. In addition to the Democrats likely losing the House and the Senate that same year, we can kiss any chances of getting a fix until after 2024.

So if you consider what's a stake here, than your most likely to resonate on why she was followed all the way to the restroom. People are tired of waiting and games, and they want to know what their future will look like, and we cant blame them for that.

I hear you loud and clear, and I'm in the same boat. I just think we're losing sight of our first obstacle (the Parliamentarian) and letting Schumer walk away from this by focusing efforts on this idiot. She comes next.

Anyway, fire the Parliamentarian first, Schumer. Didn't you hear the people? Start taking action NOW.

You are definitely right when it comes to Schumer and bearing responsibility for what’s going on with this situation. Quite frankly I never trusted the guy ever since he sold us out and clearly saying that dreamers can’t occupy the entire stage.

Unfortunately Schumer and the Democratic Party for that matter have no interest in ever legalizing us. It’s chose your poison with both parties. One party completely hates us, and the other party won’t deport us but also don’t care enough about us to give us legalization.

Too bad this "follow her to the bathroom and confront and protest" energy:
1) is not more widespread and
2) was not proactive rather than retroactive.

Now that we know nothing is going to happen, we protest and take action? Where was this energy and action in January after Biden was sworn in and GA senate seats were settled? Oh, that's right, most of us we silently praying to LOLGod ("it's in his hands") wishing something good would happen and being keyboard warriors on FB, Twitter, Reddit, here, etc. making up bullshit analysis on how something could pass.

Only good vibes and morale during critical times, and then outrage after the fact. Pathetic. Too little too late. And as always... same shit, different toilet.

We should be just as upset at ourselves, the Dreamer community, as we are with the crummy ass politicians for our own inaction and letting UWD speak and deal for us. Imagine if we had leader Dreamers mobilize our Dreamer population and allies and confront and pressure the executive and legislative branches starting in January taking advantage of the fact that most of the stars had aligned for us. Things would certainly be different for us right now.
But by all means, continue to come back here and type away bitching and moaning about the crummy ass job UWD does representing you while your fingers get tired typing away.

If the stars had truly aligned we would have had a larger democrat majority in the Senate. No amount of action is going to magic away the Filibuster. Senators like Manchin can't be swayed by public sentiment and public pressure. It's all about money with them. The Dems bill would be awesome for his state, but does he care? Nope.

So are you saying we should start trolling Schumer in the restroom?

Who can tolerate seeing wrinkled culito?

you can always humiliate elected officials in public.

it’s always morally correct.
