Sorry that is the case but you need to surround yourself with better people, I know it can be a touchy subject but depends who you hang with

So you are depressed because you cannot travel outside of USA and comeback? Is that your only concern?

If it makes you feel better, I'd do anything just to be in your shoes...

This guy even has a work permit and driver license but he says he is depressed because he cannot take an international round trip.

I know it's human nature to always look at what you don't have, but when you don't have a work permit or any sort of status, everyday life just pushes down on your chest and it's a whole different level of hell.

I can't even go to Costco without being reminded of my status when they try to push their Citi Visa cards to me. Citi asks about legal status and country of citizenship (mine is not a popular one) so I pretty much can't apply for any name brand ones or banks anymore despite having really good credit. I went through hell just to find a couple of local places to do my banking.

Driving is also stressful because all it takes is having a tail light out or not coming to a complete stop and I could get the cop who keeps digging in and that could be my end. I'm the world's best driver now because I don't want to deal with any of that and every day I worry that my insurance company may drop me. I'm not even sure I can legally buy another car if my current one dies on me. (I won't talk about the details here).

And of course, the worst is having a college degree and watching friends that I went to school with who were not any smarter than I living in million dollar houses, having a family, and surpassing me in every aspect of life while. Meanwhile I am living in a crappy apartment to save a little money and not have to fill out another apartment application where it asks about proof of work. Hell, just to pay my rent, I avoid doing an ACH transfer like a normal person because making too many cash deposits to my bank may trigger some sort of alert so I have to go stand in line for an hour at a Walmart to pay my rent in cash via a money transfer service and pay a $4 fee.

I mean don't get me wrong, international travel would be fun, but I'm just surviving over here.

I understand the human nature for wanting something you don’t have. I never had DACA and was aged out in 2012 and 2014 was blocked the day before going into effect. I actually still can’t believe I have a Green Card and here I am today applying for U.S Citizenship.

Many are dreaming of coming to USA but may never. To get a CC you have to have Green Card.

It does not matter what country you are from because none are banned when you apply for Green Card.

Many states offer driver license to the undocumented.

Why would your insurance company drop you? As long as you are paying the premium.

You can either pay cash for car or finance it.

Why compare yourself to what your friends are doing? They are not in your shoes.

Too many bank deposits have nothing to do with your status. I think you are worrying a little too much.

I still don’t understand why you haven’t proceeded further with applying for AOS.
